About Us

LOCALLY OWNED & OPERATED

Scooter and Julie Sprotte are the proud owners of The Blind Guys — southern Arizona’s largest Hunter Douglas gallery. The Sprotte’s are Arizona natives who love working and living in the Tucson community. Julie and Scooter both grew up in Pinetop, Arizona and went to college here in Tucson. Scooter is a proud former U of A Wildcat football player under former coach Dick Tomey and was a part of the infamous ‘98 team that beat Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl. Scooter’s older brother also played football at U of A and his mother and sister attended the college as well. Pride and love for the Tucson community goes back many generations!

HISTORY OF THE BLIND GUYS

The Blind Guys was founded by Mike Levy in 1993. Scooter and Julie took ownership in 2019 and adopted the same dedication to the industry that Mike began. As a result, The Blind Guys is the largest Hunter Douglas gallery in Southern Arizona and has an honored Centurion Gallery priority status.
